GBA1 deficiency and mutations are related to Gaucher disease, but are also shown to be linked to neurodegenerative events, e.g. in Parkinsons disease. Scantox offers the analysis of GCase activity in various in vitro and in vivo models like 1. mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) of 4L/PS-NA mice and 2. CBE treated D-Line mice, respectively.
Figure 1. GCase activity in C57Bl/6, 4L/PS-/+NA and 4L/PS-NA mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) measured with 4-MUG assay (n=6 per group). Statistical analysis using One-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni’s posthoc test; Mean+SEM; *p<0.05; ****p<0.0001.
Figure 2. GCase activity in brain lysates of CBE and vehicle treated α-syn transgenic D-Line and non-transgenic (ntg) mice. Measured with 4-MUG assay (n=12 per group). Statistical analysis using One-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni’s posthoc test; Mean+SEM; ****p<0.0001.
